The crash, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in County Kildare, resulted in the deaths of five teenagers and left Niamh, her sisters Alma and Ella, and their nephew with serious injuries.

Niamh Kinsella, originally from County Carlow, has been a dedicated member of the Claremorris club. The club expressed its solidarity with the family through a message on social media, highlighting Niamh’s seamless integration and valued presence in the team. The message conveyed love, strength, and support to the family during this challenging time.
In response to the accident, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to aid the family in their recovery journey. The appeal has seen an overwhelming response, raising over €575,000. Organiser Bryan Cullen, a close friend of Ella, assured supporters that the funds are being securely managed in collaboration with GoFundMe.
Tragic Incident
The accident occurred when the car carrying the Kinsella sisters and their nephew was struck head-on by a BMW travelling on the wrong side of the motorway. The impact was devastating, claiming the lives of all five teenagers in the BMW.
As the family remains in hospital, the Claremorris community and beyond continue to rally around them, offering prayers and support. The focus remains on providing the family with the privacy and space needed during this difficult period.
